Evanston again
Highs: moving north in the spring, running by the lake, then ending at the lake where sojourner falls in naked and laughing, a great part time job that I actually do love, eating dinner at the picnic table in our back lot shared by the three apt buildings and it turning into a potluck, biking in the city, great friends living good lives, reading three books in three weeks, drinking good coffee everyday, a park with a huge rock for our backyard…
Lows: not biking all day, having stuff, an apartment, bills and to do lists, not getting to spend everyday all day with Tim and sojourner, routine/schedule, being confined instead of free, missing trees and wind and wilderness, feeling strong and confident, having to know what you are doing all the time an why…
Blueberry birthday pancakes!
After recovering from her fever yesterday in an Ottawa hotel,
sojourner and I feasted on blueberry pancakes. Happy 2 years sojourner!
“Good people will be remembered as a blessing.” Proverbs 10:7
from Fran
Thanks again Fran and Bruce for being some of the wonderful people we met on our journey and showing us such warm hospitality (and funny videos).
Please consider camping out at Starved Rock State Park with us next weekend.
Saturday the 21 is Sojouners 2nd Birthday. Do not bring gifts, but we’d love to see you there Friday and Saturday night.
Hoping y’all in Evanston will coordinate some carpooling. Feel free to use the comments on this blog to RSVP.
All who are interested and able are invited to bike all the way back to Chicago with us on Sunday.
